Choose Your Battle...I was always a little dumbfounded when I worked in a drug detox facility in New York and a patient who was actively addicted to heroin and cocaine would tell me that they would like to quit smoking cigarettes. Smoking is indeed hazardous to your health, but also clearly not the most hazardous habit in that situation. Pick just one of your soon to be New Year's resolutions. Make it something important and set a realistic plan to achieve it. You might not have time to spend 3 hours a day at the gym, but shooting for 20 - 30 minutes of any type of exercise 2 - 3 times a week might be a more reasonable and satisfying goal.
