Find Your Fruit...Start every single day with a piece or serving of fruit. Add it to whatever you are eating for breakfast or make it your breakfast if you usually skip that meal. It has vitamins, it has fiber, and it tastes great. Try an orange, or 2 kiwis, or 10-12 strawberries, or 1 cup of blueberries, or a peach, or an apple, a half of a cantaloupe, etc. Try pairing that with a greek yogurt, or a few slices of low sodium turkey or chicken breast, or an egg white omelette (for those more leisurely breakfasts) for added protein. Start each day with a healthier meal and you might find it easier to make better food choices for the rest of the day.
