Memory Games...I hear a lot of people concerned about their memory. Younger patients fear they have ADD and my older patients are worried about early dementia. It is normal to forget where you put your car keys, or walk into a room and forget why you went in there, or to occasionally blank on someone's name. We have all been there at one time or another. Try to stay sharp though with simple memory games. Try to memorize phone numbers instead of just putting them in your phone, play sudoku or crossword puzzles, do simple math problems without a calculator, or memorize a new word from the dictionary every week. Our brains are much like our muscles and our significant others, they like to feel needed in order to stick around.
